Went to Jersey to visit my mom for Mother's Day weekend (granted, in this case, the "weekend" was Friday/Saturday, since I work Sundays). Friday, we spent most of the day out. First to go buy some new dress clothes for my cousin's Bat Mitzvah coming up next month, then into I-have-no-freaking-clue Pennsylvania to see Dingman's Falls. I got some reasonably good pics. Saturday, after getting up late and doing some other random shopping, I introduced my mom and Dan to the Alton Brown Pan Seared Ribeye. Quite a simple recipe, and, after just a little practice, you'll be making some damn good steaks. Alton is my culinary hero.
